Ye Olde Boot Inn is a fictional business featured in comic books published by Marvel Comics. It is associated with the Dracula line of titles and first appeared in Tomb of Dracula #18 in March, 1974.
History[]
Ye Olde Boot Inn was a hostel located in Transylvania. It was owned and operated by an elderly man named Otto. One of his guests was a surly sailor named Scratcher Martin.
One evening, Jack Russell and his girlfriend Topaz came to the Boot Inn looking for a room. Scratcher Martin, who likely had a bit to drink, made several unwarranted passes at Topaz. Topaz rebuffed him, but Scratcher was aggressive, which resulted in several mistakes on his part. Firstly, he shouldn't have put the moves on someone who was a witch. Secondly, he shouldn't have put the moves on someone who was a witch, whose boyfriend also happened to be a werewolf. Thirdly, he he shouldn't have put the moves on someone who was a witch, whose boyfriend also happened to be a werewolf approximately thirty second before the full moon rose into the sky.
