Wrong Turn 3: Left for Dead is an American independent feature film of the slasher subgenre of horror. It was directed by Declan O'Brien with a screenplay written by Connor James Delaney. It was produced by Summit Entertainment and Constantin Film Produktion. It premiered in Germany on October 8th, 2009. It was first screened in the United States at the Screamfest Horror Film Festival on October 19th, 2009. It opened to limited theatrical release in the U.S. by Twentieth Century Fox on October 20th, 2009.

- Animal death: A German Shepherd dog is bludgeoned to death by Three Finger off-screen.
- Female topless nudity: Actress Louise Cliffe has a prolonged topless scene in the beginning of the movie. There is also a scene showing a naked woman who has been tortured for some time and is not designed to tittilate.
- Gore: Copious amounts of computer generated gore which includes, arrow through breasts and eyeballs, barb wire lacerations, immolation, faces sliced off, blunt force trauma, head injuries, bodily impalement, dismemberment and exposed brains.
- Obscene finger gesture: Janet Montgomery's character extends the middle finger to Sophie's boyfriend in a joking manner.
- Profanity: Heavy use of harsh profanity used consistently throughout the film between most of the characters.
- Racism: Racist barbs exchanged between Floyd and Chavez.
