Notes & Trivia[]
- The tagline for this film is, "It's the last one you'll ever take".
- Principal filming on Wrong Turn began on August 6th, 2002 and concluded on October 11th, 2002.
- Was first released on DVD on February 2nd, 2004. It was released on Blu-ray on September 15th, 2009.
Chronology[]
- Due to information supplied in future installments, the events of this film cannot take place during the year it was released. The earliest that they can occur would be either Spring or Summer of 2004. The film Wrong Turn 4: Bloody Beginnings canonically takes place in 2003 and precedes the events of this film. The events of the following film, Wrong Turn 5: Bloodlines, also precedes the events of Wrong Turn and canonically takes place in October. Since Wrong Turn 4 takes place during a blizzard event, it has to occur during either the months of January or February in order to maintain the October events of Wrong Turn 5. Given the visual environment as well as the inclusion of the characters of One Eye and Saw Tooth, it must also be determined that the events of Wrong Turn 6: Last Resort also take place prior to Wrong Turn. That movie likely takes place immediately preceding the events of Wrong Turn.
