William Hanna was a television production executive and co-founder of Hanna-Barbera Productions, Inc., a prolific animation studio responsible for the production of many children's programs during the 1950s through the 1990s. Highlights of William Hanna's work include Huckleberry Hound (the studio's first major franchise), Tom and Jerry and the Scooby-Doo franchise.
