West Virginia is a state in the Appalachian and Mid-Atlantic regions of the United States, bordered by Virginia to the southeast, Kentucky to the southwest, Ohio to the northwest, and Pennsylvania and Maryland to the northeast. The capital and largest city is Charleston.

- Appalachian Mountains
- The Appalachian Mountains is a mountain range located in North America that runs through both the United States and Canada. In the U.S., it runs through the states of Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Hampshire, Vermont, New York, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia, Kentucky, Ohio, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, and Alabama. Basically, the majority of the Eastern region of the country.
- Charleston
- Charleston is the capital and largest city of the U.S. state of West Virginia. It is located at the confluence of the Elk and Kanawha Rivers in Kanawha County. It is the birth place of actress Allison Hayes.
- Fairlake
- Fairlake is a rural community located in Greenbrier County in West Virginia. It was founded in the year 1814. In the year 1817, the entire population of Fairlake disappeared. To this day, nobody knows what happened to them. One theory is that clans of cannibals had a longstanding feud with the hill folk locals. A massacre occurred in which the cannibals slaughtered and presumably consumed all of the residents of Fairlake. In the modern era, Fairlake had a sheriff's department, which was once led by Sheriff Angela Carter in the early 2000s, which included a small staff of deputies. Every year Fairlake celebrated the Mountain Man Festival in late October, which brought in some measure of tourist dollars. One of the businesses located in Fairlake was the Groove Motel. [1]
- Haggis' cabin
- Haggis' cabin is a small wooden structure located on Black Ridge in the mountains of West Virginia. It is about five miles west of the nearest town. The aging crone known as Haggis lives there. The cabin is accessible by either a small dirt road, or a wood and rope bridge that crosses a dry river bed. Surrounding the cabin are a series of strange earth-hewn mounds. Towards the back of the cabin is a large pumpkin patch, which has also been used as a graveyard for occult rituals. The cabin itself is constructed completely of wood. Though small, the main living area is rather spacious. No electricity runs to the cabin, and Haggis keeps it alight by way of numerous candles. It is decorated with various odds and ends, as well as occult artifacts including skulls. The cabin is infested with various rats and spiders.
- Huntington
- Huntington is a city in Cabell and Wayne counties in the U.S. state of West Virginia, along the Ohio River. It is the birth place of actor Brad Dourif.
- Last Chance Gas
- Last Chance Gas was a gas station and convenience store located in the Appalachian Mountains of West Virginia. Tucker and Dale stopped there to pick up some supplies in preparation for renovating their new vacation home. A group of college kids stopped there to pick up some beer. Dale became enamored with a pretty blonde-haired student, and Tucker encouraged him to go and speak to her. Looking somewhat creepy, and holding a large scythe, Dale fumbled through an introduction, terrifying the kids.
