Biography[]
Ward works alongside his mother and father at their family's diner. Ward first appears attempting to cut a patty like a hockey mask after Jason Voorhees' supposed death, to which he says that they look stupid, much to his mother's chagrin.
Ward appears at the diner again, this time, one of the waitresses, Diana Kimble, has been killed by Jason and Steven Freeman has escaped from prison after being falsely imprisoned. Ward spots Steven having a moment with his daughter Stephanie, but Steven convinces him not to alert the authorities. Ward then gives Steven the keys to his car and tells Steven to leave, which Steven does after thanking Ward.
After Jessica and Steven escape Robert-Jason, Ward is sent outside. As Robert-Jason stalks his way toward the dinner, Ward attempts to drive him away with his pistol, but it is swiftly knocked out of his hand by Jason.
Not giving up the attack, Ward attempts to punch Robert-Jason, but the killer grabs and breaks his left arm. As Ward yells in pain, Robert-Jason swiftly hurls him against the dinner's doors with enough force to kill him.
