Vera Miles was a film and television actress. She was born in Boise City, Oklahoma on August 23rd, 1929. With a long and distinguished career on both the big and small screens, Vera earned herself a place in horror history for her portrayal of Lila Crane-Loomis, the sister of the most infamous murder victim in all of movie history, Marion Crane. Vera played Lila in the classic 1960 thriller Psycho by director Alfred Hitchcock. She reprised the role in 1983 in Psycho II, where he character was named Lila Loomis.
