Vampi - VOV2 001

Vampi's back! Or is she?

Using a spell from the Lazarus Book, Mordecai Pendragon resurrects Vampirella from the grave, but she is little more than a savage animal with an insatiable need to rend and kill. Making her way back to the city, she comes upon some demon scavengers as well as a demon dog. She kills the dog, then rips open the throat of a green horned demon named Dur-Roc. Dur-Roc's accomplice - a spider-demon, attempts to flee, but Vampirella catches up with him.

Meanwhile in her citadel, Mistress Nyx consults with the Chaos Lords. The Lords are concerned that insurgents threaten their hold over the city, and instruct Nyx to take care of the situation. After concluding her meeting with the Chaos Lords, she speaks with her demonic underling, Desmond, who confirms that he allowed the Lazarus Book to be found so that Vampirella could be resurrected. Nyx is pleased, and anxious to reunite with her old foe once again.

Nyx and Desmond

Nyx & Desmond rap about the Chaos Lords.

Mordecai Pendragon arrives in the city upon a floating bird-creature, and as he lands, he is immediately assaulted by bat demons. He easily vanquishes them however. He finds the corpses of the two scavenger demons that Vampirella had previously slain.

Deeper in the city, an elderly woman and her granddaughter attempt to flee from the horrors that await them. The old woman cuts her arm on a fence post and the blood draws the attention of a school of shark demons. Vampirella arrives and the little girl begs her to save her grandmother. Vampirella launches into the shark demons and rips them apart with her claws. After she's done, she turns to find Pendragon standing there waiting to greet her, but she does not recognize him.

Elsewhere in the city, Nyx walks through the ruins disguised in a hooded cloak. A horde of demons come out to attack her, but she mercilessly kills them all out of sport. Turning, she sees the blood-stained shape of Vampirella's symbol upon a wall. Dropping to her knees, she leans against the wall and whispers to herself, "She's back... she's come back to me."
