Vamp is an American feature film of the vampire fiction subgenre of horror with some elements of dark comedy. It was written and directed by Richard Wenk based on a story treatment by Donald P. Borchers, who also produced the film. It was brought to you by Balcor Film Investors and distributed through New World Pictures. It premiered theatrically in the United States on July 18th, 1986. The film stars Chris Makepeace and Robert Rusler as Keith and A.J., two fraternity pledges that need to hire a stripper if they ever hope to make it into their chosen fraternity. After promising nerdy Duncan, played by Gedde Watanabe, to give them a ride in exchange for pretending to be his friend for a week, they arrive at After Dark - a seedy strip club dive on the outskirts of town. There they meet creepy host Vic, played by Sandy Baron, and chipper waitress Amaretto, played by Dedee Pfeiffer. The star of the madness however is Grace Jones as Katrina - the show-stopping exotic dancer, who also happens to be a vampire!
