"Holy Hell"[]

Prologue
Members of a SWAT team receive a mysterious videotape showing a woman bound to a chair with blood around her eyes and rambling incoherently. Tracing the location, an armored team arrive on what they suspect will be a massive drug bust. One of the members is a man named Gary, who is on his first drug bust. They arrive at the facility and cut their way through a chain-link fence. They storm the building shouting "Police! Search warrant! They scope the area and come upon an anterior exit where they spot an airplane in the outside courtyard. Going back inside, they walk a corridor that appears to be some sort of prison. They find people sitting in cells with television sets showing static. They spot a man named Tom who an officer recognizes as the guy who runs a nearby video shop. He is prone in his chair and his eyes have been removed. One eyes sits on the armrest of the chair. They continue to explore the building and find another room with multiple bodies on a couch and a central tower of television sets playing static. Gary notes that the girl from the videotape does not appear to be in the room.

"Storm Drain"[]

On Channel 6 News, two broadcasters named Mark and Camille relay a story about rumors of a cryptid known as the "Rat Man" thought to be inhabiting the sewers of Westerville, Ohio. The creature supposedly only comes out at night, but will disappear if exposed to sunlight. Channel 6's on the scene reporter Holly Marciano is tasked with surveying the location sites along with her cameraman, Jeff Wohl. Holly interviews several locals including an elderly man, two skateboarding teenagers and a priest who believes that the presence of the Rat Man is a sign from God to punish sinners.

Holly is upset that her superiors want her to continue working on the story, even to the point of entering the sewers herself. She is greatly put out by this, emphasizing that they have enough b-roll to make the story.

Holly and Jeff begin recording at the mouth of the sewer. Jeff spots a townie carrying an assault rifle standing some distance away, which unnerves both of them. They fully enter the storm drain in order to get out of the man's line of sight. They start rolling again, until Jeff spots something deep in the cavern. They walk towards the graffiti-stained walls to find evidence of homeless people living in the tunnels, possibly even children. Holly spots a figure lurking in the shadows. She approaches him cautiously to find a vagrant completely covered in filth who identifies himself as Bill. As Holly tries to interview him, blood begins pouring out of Bill's mouth. This causes Holly to take a few steps away.

Bill scampers off and Holly & Jeff venture deep into the drain tunnels. Before long, several dark and mysterious figures emerge from the shadows. They capture Holly and Bill and drag them deep into the darkness. One of the figures takes Jeff's camera and continues filming as they revive. The leader of the group emerges, who turns out to be the priest that Holly interviewed earlier. The priest motions towards a large, spherical opening and proclaims himself as a worshiper of "Raatma".

Raatma the Rat Man partially emerges, extending its oblong head outward and drooling into a cup. The priest collects the drool and pours it over Jeff's head, intoning "Hail Raatma". The drool is acidic, and Jeff's cranium begins to melt away as he cries in pain. As Holly pleads for her life, the priest tells her that she is playing witness to the dawn of a new era - one where only the righteous shall rise. He declares that Jeff was not worthy, but feels that Holly may yet be saved. Holly is brought before Raatma who drools upon her as she screams.

Sometime later on Channel 6 News, following a commercial for Veggie Masher, Mark introduces Holly Marciano as his special guest, after showcasing her recent traumatic recovery from the storm drain by rescue workers. Holly begins giving a standard news broadcast, but for the fact that she interjects the word "Raatma" at random points of the broadcast. As Mark looks at his co-anchor strangely, Holly begins to sway. Blood pours from her lip and without warning, she turns and projectile vomits all over Mark. The vomit has the same acidic properties that killed her cameraman, and Mark pulls the sizzling flesh from his face. As he collapses and dies, Holly reconstitutes herself and continues her broadcast, closing with "I'm Holly Marciano, Channel 6 News. Hail Raatma".
