"9 Crimes" is the fourth episode of season three of the supernatural drama series True Blood and the twenty-eighth episode of the series overall. In this episode, Sookie Stackhouse is reeling after her unkind telephone break-up with Bill. She begins to form a stronger bond with Alcide Herveaux, who tells her about his crazy ex-girlfriend, Debbie Pelt. Sam Merlotte has more family issues to deal with as he discovers that Joe Lee, Melinda and Tommy Mickens are homeless and living out of their van in the parking lot at Merlotte's Bar and Grill. Meanwhile, Franklin continues to use his glamor to squeeze information out of Tara Thornton and finally puts the bite on her. The Magister arrives at Fangtasia and is unpleased with the rumors he has been hearing about the illegal sale of v.
