Vampire Authority[]
The Vampire Authority is the collective administrative body governing all vampires. In the modern era, the Vampire Authority are seen as advocates of "mainstreaming", throwing support behind the proliferation of blood substitutes such as Tru-Blood. They established their North American headquarters in New Orleans, Louisiana. As it turned out however, most of the highest ranking members of the Vampire Authority were actually members of the Sanguinistas - a fringe group of religious fundamentalists, who normally act in opposition to the Vampire Authority. The last serving leader of the Vampire Authority was Roman Zimojic.
Vampire Authority Headquarters[]
The headquarters of the Vampire Authority, also known as AHQ, was located in New Orleans, Louisiana. This was where the Inner Circle of the Vampire Authority conducted their affairs, which primarily involved proliferation of the mainstreaming movement, support of the American Vampire League, and taking action against the Sanguinistas. The Vampire Authority were ultimately absorbed into the Sanguinista movement after its members consumed the blood of Lilith. The AHQ was the site of a large-scale raid conducted by both humans and vampires who stood in opposition to the group's radical activities.
Vince[]
Vince was a human resident of Bon Temps who ran against Sam Merlotte in a bit to become mayor. He always resented losing to Sam and his rivalry against him heated up when he witnessed Sam transform from a dog into a human. When Bellefleur's Bar and Grill was attacked by Hep-V infected vampires, Vince started up his own private vigilance committee. They tried to ambush Bill Compton, but were driven off by Andy Bellefleur. Vince them brought his crew back to the bar, where he recruited many locals to take up arms against all vampires. They broke tables and chairs in order to fashion wooden stakes. He then led them on raid of the Bon Temps Sheriff's office where they were able to recruit Deputy Kenya Jones to their cause.
