Jerry[]

Jerry was a homosexual fangbanger who had Hepatitis-D. He was the human toy of Malcolm Beaumarchais. The only reason Jerry let himself associate with Malcolm and the rest of the Monroe, Louisiana nest was because he wanted revenge upon vampires and knew that he could transmit the Hep-D to them. Malcolm brought Jerry to the house of Bill Compton and even offered to share him with Bill. When Compton came in close to Jerry with the intent to feed, the Fae halfling Sookie Stackhouse telepathically sensed Jerry's intent and warned the vampires that Jerry was diseased. Malcolm later took Jerry, dismembered him and left his body parts strewn across a highway. (True Blood: Mine)

Jesse Compton[]

Jesse Compton was the last living blood relative of Bill Compton living in Bon Temps. He had inherited the venerable Compton plantation house from previous family members and lived there until he died sometime in 2008. With old Jesse Compton's death, ownership of the estate reverted back to Bill Compton. (True Blood: The First Taste)

Jessica Hamby[]

Jesus[]

Short for Jesus Christ, it is a reference to savior of humanity from the Christian religion. It is said that Jesus is the son of God, born through the human vessel of a woman, Mary, who sacrificed himself for humanity to remove the stain of sin from the human soul. The name Jesus Christ is often taken in vane, often during moments of anger or duress. Andy Bellefleur has his own, more colorful expletive, which is "Jesus tits!". Mental patient Ruby Jean Reynolds always referred to orderly Jesús Velásquez as Jesus (his first name is actually pronounced 'hey-soos').

Jorge Alonso de San Diego[]

Jorge Alonso de San Diego is an elder vampire who holds the title of Magister. He presided over the trial of Bill Compton, who was accused to taking the life of another vampire named Longshadow in order to protect the human, Sookie Stackhouse. As punishment, Compton was forced to create a vampire progeny, and turned a teenage girl named Jessica Hamby into a vampire. He later learned that a vampire within his territory was illegally selling V to humans. He cooperated with the Queen of Louisiana, Sophie-Anne Leclerq, to investigate the matter, having no knowledge that it was actually Sophie who was running the V ring. Vampire Russell Edgington later captured the Magister and tortured him, forcing him to use his authority to marry Russell to Sophie-Anne. After which, he decapitated him.
