The title of this story, "Where No Vampire Has Gone Before!", is a play on the phrase "Where no man has gone before...", which was the last line in the opening narration of the original Star Trek television series. In subsequent spin-off projects the phrase has been amended to the more gender neutral "Where no one has gone before".
