This issue is reprinted in the Tomb of Dracula Omnibus, Volume 1 hardcover collection and the Essential Tomb of Dracula, Volume 1 trade paperback collection. Letterer John Costanza is credited as Jon Costa in this issue. This is the first appearance of Rachel van Helsing. She becomes a regular supporting character throughout the remainder of the series. This is the first appearance of Taj Nital. He becomes a regular supporting character in the title. This is the first appearance of Ilsa Strangway. This is the first appearance of Inspector George Chelm. The scene where Rachel van Helsing convinces Frank Drake to not commit suicide will be later referenced in Tomb of Dracula #63.
