Token whore

"What do you mean I'm a whore?"

Token whore refers to a particular character archetype that may be found in certain films. They are usually part of an ensemble cast of characters and are most often found in the teen comedy or slasher horror genres. In many situations where multiple characters are involved in a film's plot, certain characters fill specific roles. The "token whore" is a usually a female character who is characterized by promiscuity, infidelity or immodest fashion sense.

Examples

In Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers, the token whore of is Kelly Meeker, who shamelessly dates and has sex with a boy named Brady even though she knows he is dating a girl named Rachel Carruthers. What makes her a whore? She answers the door on Halloween night wearing nothing but a t-shirt while it is still early enough out for children to be trick-or-treating.

In A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors, the character of Joey Crusel has a dream about a nurse named Marcie, who removes her uniform and begins making out with Joey on a bed. This wet dream however turns out to be quite the buzz-kill when Marcie begins projecting severed tongues that bind Joey to his bedposts and then morphs into Freddy Krueger. No one could keep wood during a scene like this.
