The Unborn is an American feature film of the supernatural thriller genre. Despite its name, it is not a remake of previous films bearing the same title. The movie was written and directed by David S. Goyer and produced by Rogue Pictures - a Relativity Media company, as well as Michael Bay's Platinum Dunes. It was released theatrically in the United States on January 9th, 2009. The film stars Odette Yustman as Casey Beldon, a young woman from Illinois who is haunted by a possessing spirit known as a Dybbuk.
