The Prophecy: Uprising is an American horror movie of the Biblical/supernatural subgenre. It was directed by Joel Soisson and is the fourth film in the Prophecy film series. It was produced by Ron Schmidt for Dimension Films and Neo Art & Logic and was released direct-to-video on June 7th, 2005. It follows the events of the 2000 film, The Prophecy 3: The Ascent and is followed by another sequel called The Prophecy: Forsaken, which was released the same year. The film stars Sean Pertwee as Dani Simionescu, Kari Wuhrer as Allison, Jason London as Simon and John Light as John Riegert, aka, Satan. Other stars in the film include Doug Bradley, Georgina Rylance, Stephen Billington, Dan Chiriac and Boris Petroff.
