The Hitchhiker, also known as Deadly Nightmares, is a joint American/Canadian television sci-fi and horror anthology series. It was produced by Corazon Productions and DiC Entertainment and ran for six seasons from 1983 to 1991, spanning a total of eighty-five episodes. The series starred Page Fletcher as the eponymous "Hitchhiker", who served as the host for the series.
