It is an anthology television series that aired in syndication from September 30th, 1984 to July 24th, 1988, spanning a total of four seasons and ninety episodes. The series was presented in the same vein as programs like Tales from the Crypt.
- This is the only work in the horror genre for actor Sirri Murad.
- This is the fifth and final episode of Tales from the Darkside directed by Frank De Palma. He previously directed "My Ghostwriter - The Vampire" from season three.
- This is the only episode of Tales from the Darkside where Robert Bloch wrote the teleplay for an episode. He had previously written story treatments in prior episodes such as "A Case of the Stubborns", and "Everybody Needs a Little Love".
