"While the Cat's Away" is the premiere episode of the animated television series Tales from the Cryptkeeper. It was directed by Laura Shepherd with a script written by Manny Coto. Additional dialogue was provided by Terry Black. The episode first aired on ABC on Saturday morning, September 18th, 1993 at 9:00 am.
Synopsis[]
In this episode, two teen brothers named Dwight and Stu break into a mansion hoping to find valuables that they can sell in order to purchase new dirt bikes. To their chagrin, they discover that the supposedly empty mansion is actually occupied by the Crypt Keeper - as well as a bevy of the Keeper's monstrous minions.
