"Strung Along" is the twelfth episode of season four of the anthology television series Tales from the Crypt and the fiftieth episode of the series overall. It was directed by Kevin Yagher with a script written by Yagher and Yale Udoff. It first aired on HBO on Wednesday, September 2nd, 1992. In this episode, an aging puppeteer comes to the decision that he has more in common with his craft than he does with his cheating wife.

- Director Kevin Yagher is better known for his makeup and special effects work on the A Nightmare on Elm Street and Hellraiser franchises. He also directed the episodes "Lower Berth" and the wraparound sequence from "The Man Who Was Death".
- Actor Zach Galligan is better known for playing the role of Billy Peltzer in the Gremlins film franchise.
