"Dig That Cat... He's Real Gone" is the pilot episode of the television horror anthology series Tales from the Crypt. The episode was directed by Richard Donner and written by Terry Black. It first aired on Saturday, June 10th, 1989 on HBO. The plot of the episode centers around a homeless man who is implanted with the glands of a cat, thus giving him nine lives. Believing himself immortal, he begins working at a carnival sideshow.
