"Bedtimes Stories" is the sixth episode of season three of the occult action/drama series Supernatural and the forty-second episode of the series overall. The episode was directed by series developer Eric Kripke and written by Raelle Tucker. It first aired on the CW Network on November 8th, 2007. In this episode, the Winchester boys find themselves living the idyllic perfect life. Things are almost never what they seem however in the world of Sam and Dean as they come to discover that the fantasy they have been living is the machinations of an evil Djinn.
