Steven S. DeKnight is a television producer and screenwriter from Millville, New Jersey. He is best known for his work on the WB Network television programs, Buffy the Vampire Slayer and the spin-off series Angel. Steven first began working on season 5 of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, beginning with the 13th episode of the season "Blood Ties" where he worked as the screenwriter. He wrote the scripts for five episodes of the series.

Steven S. DeKnight then moved on to Angel beginning with the season 4 premiere episode "Deep Down", which he co-produced and wrote the screenplay for. DeKnight served as a co-producer on 22 epsiodes of the series and a full producer on 13 episodes. He wrote and/or co-wrote the scripts for 12 episodes between 2002 and 2004.
