Sophie was a young attractive brunette woman who had been dating a guy named Brent. She was friends with a woman named Alex and her boyfriend, Trey. The four friends took a vacation where they decided to chute the rapids in the backwoods of West Virginia. After spending the day rafting, they set up camp. Alex lit a joint and shared it with Sophie. After which, Sophie took her top off for purposes of sun-bathing. Alex told her "You are a total exhibitionist", but Sophie didn't mind, indicating that the "girls" (ie: her breasts) needed to breathe. Brent came along, so Alex decided to go look for Trey. Sophie and Brent became amorous and she mounted her boyfriend while playfully stating, "Alex thinks I'm a slut. Do you think I'm a slut?" As Brent fondled his girlfriend's breasts, a disfigured mutant known as Three Finger emerged and fired a bow and arrow, which pierced Sophie's left breast and went through Brent's right hand. As she fell over, Three Finger fired another arrow that went through her right eye. Brent took off running and the cackling Three Finger ran over to Sophie's corpse where he plucked her eyeball off the end of his arrow and ate it. Note: Sophie is the first victim in the movie.
