Snow White: A Tale of Terror is an American dark fantasy film based on the classic fairy tale, Snow White and the Seven Dwarves. The film was directed by Michael Cohn with a screenplay written by Tom Szollosi and Deborah Serra, based on concepts originally developed by Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm. The movie was produced by PolyGram Filmed Entertainment and Interscope Communications and released in the United States on August 24th, 1997. The movie stars Sigourney Weaver as Claudia Hoffman, Sam Neill as Frederick Hoffman, Gil Bellows as Will, Monica Keena as Lilli Hoffman, Brian Glover as Lars, David Conrad as Peter Gutenberg and Taryn Davis as Little Lilli.
