Getting sliced in two is kinda like getting cut in half. Okay, its EXACTLY like getting cut in half. They're the same damned thing. Getting cut in half represents a situation where someone is cut horizontally across the mid-section separating their top half from their bottom half. Getting sliced in two will refer to being cut down the middle from gullet to groin. And beyond!
Watching someone being sliced in two is one of the more visceral, and for some, exciting-looking kills seen in the horror genre. Remember Andy from Friday the 13th Part 3?
