Biography[]
Sister Ursula was a nun from New York who worked at a convent that would one day become known as Leviathan House. During the blizzard of 1809, Sister Ursula discovered Philip Lemarchand's first and most notable architectural achievement - the Lemarchand puzzle box. Shattering her vows, she gave way to obsession and plumbed the depths of desire and intrigue that the box provided, ultimately solving it. That year, eighty women vanished from Leviathan House without a trace. Only the remains of Sister Ursula were ever discovered. It is said that she "went to pieces". Whether this was meant as a literal description of her corporeal form or a reference to her state of mind is unknown. It is believed that the ghost of Sister Ursula continues to haunt Leviathan House to this day.
Notes & Trivia[]
The character of Sister Ursula was created by director Rick Bota and writer Joel Soisson based on concepts originally developed by Clive Barker.
