Evil Dead[]
Shelly is a character featured in the Evil Dead film series. She was played by actress Sarah York in the 1981 film The Evil Dead. Shelly was a 23-year-old college student and the girlfriend of a boy named Scott. Along with their friends, Ash, Cheryl, and Linda, they spent their Spring Break vacation in a wooded cabin in Tennessee. The five college students became the target of a Kandarian demon, who had been unwittingly released following the spoken incantation of an evil spell. Shelly was the second member of the group to become possessed by the demon after Cheryl Williams. She tried to trick Scott into believing that she was not possessed, and used his hesitation to attack him. Scott was forced to dismember Shelly with an axe.
Lost Boys[]
Shelly was the girlfriend of Greg and was a resident of Santa Carla, California. After Greg and his fellows Surf Nazis nearly got into a scuffle with the vampiric Lost Boys at the boardwalk carousel, he later went off to make out with Shelly in the back of his car. The Lost Boys used their vampiric powers of flight to descend upon the top of the car, tore through the roof and murdered both of them. (Lost Boys, The)
