Shelby is a fictional cook and a supporting character featured in the Friday the 13th film series. Played by actor Leslie Jordan, he appeared in the 1993 feature film Jason Goes to Hell: The Final Friday.
Biography[]
Shelby B., full surname unknown, was a middle-aged man from Cunningham County, Connecticut. He was the husband of the surly Joey B., and had an adult son named Ward. Shelby worked at his wife's restaurant, Joey B's Diner as a short fry cook.
Two youths named Steven Freeman and Jessica Kimble entered the diner in a panic one evening, after being pursued by legendary mass murderer, Jason Voorhees, whose soul now resided in the body of Robert Campbell. Jason entered the diner after them and Joey B. tossed Shelby a gun. He shot at Jason, but this did nothing to stop him. Jason grabbed Shelby and dunked his head face-first into a deep fryer, which ultimately killed him.
