Scanner Cop is a Canadian feature film of the horror, action and science fiction genres. It is a spin-off of the Scanners film series and is the first installment in its own short-lived film franchise. The movie was directed by Pierre David with a script written by David, John Bryant and George Saunders. It was produced by Malofilm and The Image Organization and premiered on July 27th, 1994. Scanner Cop stars Daniel Quinn as police officer Sam Staziak - a cop gifted with extreme psychic abilities that will blow your mind. Literally!
