Samantha "Sam" Carpenter is a fictional character in the Scream franchise. She was introduced in the 2022 film Scream and was played by actress Melissa Barrera. She is the daughter of notorious Woodsboro serial killer Billy Loomis who constantly plagues her in hallucinations to take up his murderous ways.

- Sam is an inverse of Jill Roberts from the previous film as Sam is a heroic character who is the daughter of a Ghostface killer and Jill is a Ghostface killer who is the cousin of a heroic character (Sidney Prescott).
