Salvatore Argento is an Italian film producer born in Rome in 1914. He was the father of future director Dario Argento and producer Claudio Argento and the grandfather of actress/director Asia Argento. His first film was the 1966 comedy Kiss the Girls and Make Them Die. He produced seven of Dario Argento's giallo genre films. Salvatore passed away in Italy on April 19th, 1987 at the age of 72.
