Biography[]

Ryan was a young man who was dating a woman named Maya. In 2017, Ryan and Maya were driving through Venus, Oregon, when they decided to stop at Carol's Diner for lunch. After an awkward meal with some of the locals, they discovered that the alternator in Ryan's truck just suddenly went bad. A local mechanic named Rudy offered to replace it for him, but it would required Ryan and Maya staying in town. Rudy helped them rent out an Airbnb from a local hunter named Joe.

That evening, three masked Strangers came to the cabin and began terrorizing Ryan and Maya. They eventually broke into the cabin, forcing Ryan to retreat outside. Unfortunately, the strangers disabled their only means of escape and Ryan was forced to defend himself, while desperately trying to get back inside the structure to save Maya.

The strangers captured both Ryan and Maya and tied them to chairs in the living room. Suspecting that this might be the last moments of their lives, Ryan asked Maya to marry him. After that, the leader of the group stabbed both Ryan and Maya in the abdomen with a large knife. Ryan fell over and presumably bled out, but Maya managed to survive her injuries.
