Romania is a country located in Southeastern and Central Europe, North of the Balkan Peninsula, on the Lower Danube, within and outside the Carpathian arch, bordering on the Black Sea. Almost all of the Danube Delta is located within its territory. It shares a border with Hungary and Serbia to the west, Ukraine and the Republic of Moldova to the northeast, and Bulgaria to the south.

Bistriţa
Bistriţa is a city in Romania and one of the many stop-gaps made by Jonathan Harker on his way to Castle Dracula. [1]
 


Bucharest
Bucharest is the capital city of Romania. According to Love at First Bite, Transylvania without Dracula would be as exciting as "Bucharest on a Monday night". Bucharest is also the central setting of the Subspecies film series.
Cluj-Napoca
Cluj-Napoca is the fourth most populous city in Romania, and the seat of Cluj County in the northwestern part of the country. It was founded in 1213 and is located in the Someșul Mic river valley. The city is considered the unofficial capital to the historical province of Transylvania. A doppelganger of Ash Williams once ehcountered Dracula here. The two fought one another, then teamed up to fight the demon Hzxyrioth before resuming their fight, which resulted in Ash stabbing Dracula in the throat with the Kandarian dagger. [2]
 


Draga
Draga was an old Romanian village dominated by a Satanic cult of werewolves. A priest from the village used a 17th century bell tower to lure the werewolves into the building whereupon he locked them inside and burned them death. Years after this incident, the California town of Drago was established and named after Draga. In 1988, history began to repeat itself as the town became a communal haven for werewolves. [3]
