Rockula is an American feature film of the comedy and horror genres with an emphasis on vampire fiction. It was written and directed by Luca Bercovici and co-written by Jefery Levy and Chris Ver Wiel. It was produced by Cannon Film Distributors and premiered on February 23rd, 1990. The film stars Dean Cameron as Ralph LaVie a 300-plus-year-old teenage vampire who lives at his mom's house and starts up his own rock and roll band.
