Biography[]

Adult Ricky Caldwell.
Ricky Caldwell was the younger brother of deceased serial killer Billy Caldwell. When they were both children, the Caldwell brothers witnessed the violent murder of their parents by a deranged maniac dressed in a Santa Claus outfit. They were both sent to live at the same orphanage, but Billy grew up traumatized by the experience and became a killer Santa Claus himself. When he returned to the orphanage years later to murder the cruel Mother Superior, young Ricky watched his brother being gunned down by police officers.

Ricky is ready for the holidays.
Seeing his brother's demise, coupled with the surprisingly vivid memories of his parents' murder, Ricky grew up to become an unstable maniac himself. After committing several murders of his own, Ricky was remanded to a psychiatric institute. Prior to incarceration, Ricky had fallen in love with a woman named Jennifer, whom he was led to believe was a virgin. One evening, Ricky took Jennifer to see a violent movie at the theater. An obnoxious heckler earned Ricky's wrath, and he murdered him in the back of the theater while Jennifer watched the movie. He later had an encounter with Jennifer's ex-boyfriend, Chip. Ricky murdered him by shoving live jumper cables into his mouth, electrocuting him. Having learned that his beloved Jennifer was not the virgin she claimed to be, Ricky "punished" her by strangling her to death. He was apprehended by police officers soon after.

Hey! You're not Santa!
After his arrest, Ricky became a patient at a mental hospital under the care of Doctor Henry Bloom. Caldwell was sarcastic and belligerent towards the doctor, but Bloom succeeded in coaxing Ricky into opening up about his past. After Ricky tired of Doctor Bloom's questions, he murdered him by strangling him with tape recorder ribbon and escaped from the hospital.

Someone has been VERY naughty!
Ricky murdered a man at a gas station dressed up in a Santa Claus outfit. He stole the costume and went off to complete his brother's original mission - to kill Mother Superior. Mother Superior, having suffered a stroke, was now retired from her work at the orphanage. Ricky tracked her to her home and accosted her. The wheelchair bound nun tried to keep him at bay by blocking the door to her room. Ricky broke through with an axe however, and threw Mother Superior down the stairs. Broken and helpless, there was little the aging nun could do but cry out as Ricky brought his axe down upon her.

Is this the end for Ricky Caldwell? Guess you'll have to watch the sequel to find out.
One of Mother Superior's younger charges, Sister Mary, came to the house to check on her. She found the old woman's staged body sitting in a chair. When she touched her, Mother Superior's head fell off. Police officers arrived on the scene just as Ricky leaped out to kill Sister Mary. They gunned him down and he fell out of a window. Miraculously, Ricky Caldwell survived, but was now in a coma.
Six years later, Ricky Caldwell was still in a coma. Doctors used him for experimentation and affixed a transparent dome to his head, which revealed the top of his brain. A man named Doctor Newbury attempted a radical form of treatment, by using a blind psychic woman named Laura Anderson, whose abilities enabled her to tap into Ricky's memories. This eventually caused Ricky to awaken, and he escaped from the hospital to begin a new murder spree.
