Return of the Living Dead Part II is an American feature film of the horror and comedy genres. It is a sequel to the 1985 feature film Return of the Living Dead. It was written and directed by Ken Wiederhorn and produced by Greenfox and Lorimar Telepictures. It was released theatrically in the United States on January 15th, 1988. The movie brings back original cast members Thom Matthews and James Karen, only this time, they are playing characters named Ed and Joey, and should not be confused with characters that they portrayed in Return of the Living Dead. A film for all ages, it is an eighty-nine minute craze-fest of zany zombie gut-soaked glory. And will somebody please get that damned screwdriver out of that lady's head?!?
