Repo! The Genetic Opera is a musical sci-fi/horror film directed by Darren Lynn Bousman. It was produced by Twisted Pictures and opened to limited theatrical release on November 7th, 2008. The film takes place in the near future in a reality where epidemic organ failures have devastated mankind. To counter the crisis, the biotech firm known as GeneCo is formed and provide organ transplants to needy clients - for a fee. Those who fail to make their finance payments however may receive a visit from the Repo Man.
