Psycho is an American feature film of the psychological suspense thriller genre. It was directed by Alfred Hitchcock with a screenplay written by Joseph Stefano based on the novel by Robert Bloch. It was produced by Paramount Pictures and Universal Studios and premiered theatrically in the United States on June 16th, 1960. The film stars Janet Leigh as Marion Crane - a woman who is unsatisfied with her life, and decides to make a drastic change by stealing a large sum of money from her employer. While on the run, she stops at the Bates Motel run by fidgety motel manager Norman Bates, played by Anthony Perkins. Little does Marion know, but she has just stepped inside the lair of a killer. But who is the killer? Is it Norman Bates, or his domineering mother, Mrs. Bates? Guess you'll just have to watch the movie to find out.
