Prom Night III: The Last Kiss is an independent Canadian horror film of the supernatural thriller genre, which also contains elements of comedy. It is the third installment in the Prom Night film series and follows the events of the 1987 sequel, Prom Night II. The film was directed by Ron Oliver and Peter Simpson with a script written by Oliver. It was produced by Norstar Entertainment and premiered in Toronto on March 30th, 1990. It was released to video in the United States on June 28th, 1990. This time around, it is Courtney Taylor's turn at playing the role of vengeful ghost Mary Lou Maloney, taking over for Lisa Schrage from the previous film. The movie also stars Tim Conlon as Alex Grey, Cindy Preston as Sarah Monroe, David Stratton as Shane Taylor, Dylan Neal as Andrew Douglas, and Jeremy Ratchford as Leonard Welsh.
