"Sins of the Father" is the second episode of season one of the occult-themed supernatural drama series Poltergeist: The Legacy. It was directed by Allan Eastman with a script written by Garner Simmons and Brad Wright. It first aired on Showtime on Friday, April 26th, 1996 at 8:00 pm. In this episode, Derek Rayne is recruited to help an old boarding school friend who is accused of abusing his 10-year-old son. However, strange things are afoot as the Legacy team suspects that there may be supernatural forces at play. Nick Boyle however, nurses his own grudge against the accused based on his own dark past.
