Philip K. Decker, also known as "Buttonface", is a fictional psychiatrist & serial killer and the primary antagonist in the 1988 novella Cabal by author Clive Barker. The character also appeared in the 1990 feature film adaptation, which was called Nightbreed. He was played by actor David Cronenberg in the film. Decker is introduced as a supporting character in the movie, who works as a psychiatrist for a troubled young man named Aaron Boone. Decker manipulates Boone into believing he is a serial killer, when in fact, he is framing Boone for murders that he himself had committed. When Decker discovers that Boone knows the location of the mythical Midian - a city of "freaks", Decker follows him, emboldened to continue his mad campaign to remove the perceived filth of society from the earth.
