Phantasm III: Lord of the Dead is an American independent feature film of the science fiction and horror genres. It is the third installment in the Phantasm film series, and was written and directed by franchise creator Don Coscarelli. It was produced by Starway International, Inc. and premiered on video in Japan on February 25th, 1994. It opened to limited theatrical release in the United States on May 6th, 1994. The boys are back in town! Phantasm III reunites original cast members Reggie Bannister as Reggie, A. Michael Baldwin as Mike, and Bill Thornbury as Jody, along with Angus Scrimm making his return appearance as the villainous Tall Man! Oh, yeah... and there's orbs, too.
An unrated version of the film was released in 2007 by Anchor Bay Entertainment, featuring an audio commentary by A. Michael Baldwin and Angus Scrimm, a deleted scene, and behind-the-scenes footage. [3]
