Biography[edit | edit source]
Perry Sykes was a drug dealer and a comic book artist who was active in the 1990s. Once, while at a party in the penthouse of Drumpf Tower, he met with one of the Go-Go dancers and offered her some mind-expanding drugs. The Go-Go dancer took the white pill and suddenly found herself transformed into a leather-clad blade wielding super-hero with chains attached to her breasts. She could perceive alien presences infecting other partiers and dancers and fought against them.
Perry Sykes was present at a signing for the Vampblade #1 release party being held at Comic Planet in Detroit, Michigan. One of the customers who came to his counter was young Katie Carva. Carva would likewise be inspired by the Vampblade comic and would eventually inherit the power of the Vampblades for herself.
