The Nun II is an American feature film of the supernatural thriller and demonic possession subgenres of horror. It is a sequel to the 2018 film The Nun and is the eighth film in the over-arching Conjuring film series. The film was directed by Michael Chaves with a screenplay written by Ian Goldberg, Richard Naing and Akela Cooper based on a story treatment by Cooper. It was presented by New Line Cinema and produced by Atomic Monster and The Safran Company. It was released in the United States and the United Kingdom on September 8th, 2023.
