North Carolina is a state located in the continental United States.
The 1992 film Hellraiser III: Hell on Earth was filmed at several key locations in North Carolina including the NationsBank Plaza at 101 South Tyron Street in Charlotte and Wake Forest University at 1834 Wake Forest Road in Winston-Salem. Other parts of the movie were filmed in High Point. [1]
Director, producer, screenwriter J.T. Petty was born in Raleigh, North Carolina on February 28th, 1977. J.T.'s first genre work was the 2001 film short Soft for Digging, for which he was the director, producer, screenwriter and editor. J.T. is also known for directing the 2003 direct-to-video film Mimic: Sentinel.
Remember Patricia from AMC's The Walking Dead? Well, that character was played by an actress named Jane McNeill. Jane was born in the city of Whiteville, North Carolina on June 21st, 1966. She probably would have been safer had she stayed there. There's less zombies in Whiteville.
Actress Jill Wagner was born in Winston-Salem, North Carolina on January 13th, 1979. Jill played Krista Starr on Blade: The Series and Kate Argent on Teen Wolf.
True Blood season three actress Evan Rachel Wood was born in the city of Raleigh in North Carolina on September 7th, 1987. Evan played the role of Louisiana vampire queen Sophie-Anne Leclerq in season three of the show.

- Roanoke Island is an island located in the U.S. state of North Carolina. It is situated in Dare County on the outer banks of the state and is approximately eight miles long by two miles wide. It is connected to the mainland by U.S. Highway 64. The island was named for the Algonquin tribal people the Roanoac.
