Nick Lyon really likes aliens and zombies. At least that's what his IMDB profile would suggest. Nick is a film director and producer who was born in Pocatello, Idaho on April 25th, 1970. His career in film began in the early 2000s, with his first contributions to the horror genre beginning in the latter half of that decade.
Nick Lyon was the director on the 2007 direct-to-video film, Species: The Awakening. This was both his debut into the world of horror as well as that of science fiction. Species: The Awakening was the third sequel in the Species film series. In 2011, Nick Lyon turned towards the undead to earn a paycheck. He directed the Syfy Original Pictures film Zombie Apocalypse for The Asylum. He followed this up with another zombie-piece for The Asylum, Rise of the Zombies, released in 2012 and starring everyone's favorite Mexican ass-kicker, Danny Trejo.
Since its practically impossible to work for The Asylum and NOT be involved in some kind of giant squid monster movie, Nick finally got his chance in 2014 when he directed Bermuda Tentacles, which featured... you guessed it. A giant squid monster!
Unable to stay away from zombie lore for too long, Nick turned his talents to the small screen when he directed the "Going Nuclear" episode from season one of Z Nation.
