Nana Visitor is an American actress born in New York City, New York on July 26th, 1957. She is best known for playing the role of Major Kyra Nyres on the television series Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. In 2009, she played the part of psychotic killer Pamela Voorhees in Marcus Nispel's remake of Friday the 13th, a role originally played by actress Betsy Palmer.
